We met up with Meghan and Matt to take engagement photos just a few weeks after first meeting them and agreeing to cover their wedding next fall. I immediately appreciated how comfortable they were together, and knew their photos would be amazing. I got the sense they preferred a more casual off-the-cuff style for their portraits, so we decided it would work great if I shadowed them as they hit some of their favorite spots in Springfield. The late afternoon light lent the photos a cinematic quality, and I remarked to Caitlin that the photos looked like stills from a Woody Allen movie where the couple doesn’t grow apart throughout the film. I love the photos and can’t wait to share all of them. Here are a few shots taken with my Leica M8 and 50mm Summilux. -Micah.
